FlexeGRAPH 2D materials
ANU holds a unique IP portfolio in the production of pristine graphene and other 2D material particles. At the heart of the technology, is the ability to control stabilisation in water and non-aqueous solvents as well as the flexibility to improve compatibility with a range of materials such as thermosets and thermoplastics to enhance dispersion.
FlexeGRAPH Graphene produced via a scalable method is ideally suited for use in many applications. The facile technique leads to large defect free particles with very low thickness (typically 90% less than 2nm) with high electrical and thermal conductivity. Production capacity at ANU is currently 2 tonnes per year however this process is easily scaled to larger volumes. The process itself is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
In addition to graphene, we can apply our methods for the production of other 2D materials including minerals such as talc, boron nitride and transition metal dichalcogenides (like MoS2 and WS2).
We can provide our technology for incorporation of 2Ds into common matrixes or for common applications such as dispersion in thermoset resins or inks. We can also work with you to engineer solutions for your specific applications, processes or materials. Contact us to discuss options.
